HAVOC RUNDOWN
National Havoc Robot League Fantasy League
League-Specific Rules – 2026 Season
This document defines the league-specific rules for the Havoc Rundown NHRL Season Fantasy League.
These rules operate in addition to the Havoc Rundown Fantasy League 2026 General Rulebook.
Where a conflict exists, this document takes precedence.
1. LEAGUE FORMAT
1.1 League Type
The NHRL Fantasy League is a season-long league consisting of multiple official NHRL events.
All players participate in a single shared league
Event Points accumulate across the season
Final league standings determine the season champion
A post-season Championship Event is planned but remains provisional
Single-event league rules do not apply to this league.
1.2 League Size
The 2026 NHRL Fantasy League will consist of exactly 20 teams.
League size is fixed once the season begins
All Event Point calculations are based on a 20-player league
Purpose of the 20-team cap:
Reduce duplicate drafting pressure in Hobbyweight and Featherweight
Improve draft depth and competitive balance
Preserve strategic diversity across events
1.3 League Entry & Platform Context
Teams may not join the NHRL Fantasy League after the first event has been completed
This restriction applies only to the official NHRL league
The Havoc Rundown Fantasy League platform is designed so that:
Anyone may create their own league
Custom leagues may define different join rules
This document applies only to the official NHRL Season League
2. DIVISIONS USED
The following divisions are used for all NHRL Fantasy League events:
Beetleweight
Hobbyweight
Featherweight
No other divisions are used for this league.
3. EVENT ROSTERS
3.1 Required Event Roster
For every NHRL event, each player must draft exactly:
2 Beetleweight bots
1 Hobbyweight bot
1 Featherweight bot
A player’s Event Roster is complete once all four slots are filled.
4. EVENT DRAFT FORMAT
4.1 Draft Requirement
A draft is required for every NHRL event.
Drafts are conducted prior to each event and determine Event Rosters for that event only.
4.2 Unified Draft Pool
All eligible Beetleweight, Hobbyweight, and Featherweight bots are available in a single unified draft
There are no separate drafts by division
Bots are removed from the pool once drafted, subject to allotment rules
4.3 Draft Order
4.3.1 First Event of the Season
For the first NHRL event only:
Draft order is randomized
The draft uses a snake format
Randomization method is determined by the League Steward
4.3.2 Subsequent Events
For all remaining NHRL events:
Draft order is determined by Event Placement from the previous event
Order is last place → first place
The draft uses a snake format
This structure rewards lower-placing players with earlier draft priority.
4.4 Snake Draft Format
Round 1: First → Last
Round 2: Last → First
Pattern repeats until all Event Rosters are filled
Once a player’s roster is full, they are skipped in remaining draft positions.
4.5 Draft Pick Rules
When it is a player’s turn to pick:
The player may draft any eligible bot
The bot may be from any division
The pick must fill an unfilled roster slot
4.5.1 Valid Picks
If a player has drafted:
1 Beetle
They may draft:
Their second Beetle
Their Hobby
Their Feather
4.5.2 Invalid Picks
A player may not:
Draft more than 2 Beetles
Draft more than 1 Hobby
Draft more than 1 Feather
Invalid picks must be corrected before the draft proceeds.
5. ABSENTEE DRAFTING (LIVE DRAFT REPLACEMENT)
5.1 Absentee Eligibility
Players unable to attend the live draft must submit Pre-Draft Lists prior to the draft start.
5.2 Pre-Draft List Requirements
Each absentee player must submit ranked lists containing:
10–15 Beetleweight bots
10–15 Hobbyweight bots
10–15 Featherweight bots
5.3 Absentee Draft Pick Order
Absentee picks are made in the following fixed order, regardless of draft round:
Beetleweight
Beetleweight
Hobbyweight
Featherweight
This order repeats until the Event Roster is complete.
5.4 Absentee Draft Enforcement
Bots already drafted or no longer eligible are skipped
If a list is exhausted, league fallback logic is used
Absentee picks are final unless a system error occurs
Live drafters retain full flexibility; absentee drafting exists to replace attendance, not optimize strategy.
6. BOT SEEDING & DRAFT ALLOTMENTS
6.1 Seeding Source
All draft allotments are based on all-time NHRL seeding, as maintained in the Havoc Rundown Bot Registry.
Event-specific seeds do not override these values.
6.2 Draft Allotments (Hobby & Feather Only)
NHRL Seed Range
Allotment
1–10: 1 pick
11–30: 2 picks
31–50: 3 picks
51+ / Unseeded: 4 picks
6.3 Beetleweight Duplicate Rule
No duplicate Beetleweight bots are allowed
A Beetleweight bot may be drafted once per event
6.4 Bot Identity & Cosmetic Changes
A bot is treated as the same bot for all fantasy purposes as long as NHRL recognizes it as the same bot.
Cosmetic name changes do not reset:
Draft history
Eligibility
Seeding
Allotments
6.5 Missing or Conflicting Data
In the event of conflicting or missing data, the Havoc Rundown Bot Registry is the authoritative source unless overridden by the League Steward.
7. SCORING ELIGIBILITY
7.1 Eligible Matches
Only official NHRL matches count for fantasy scoring
Exhibition, grudge, or demonstration matches do not count unless explicitly designated as official by the event
7.2 Match Scoring
The unified scoring system applies:
KO / Tapout Win: +7
Judges’ Decision Win: +6
Forfeit Win: +5
Judges’ Decision Loss: +2
8. EVENT POINTS & SEASON STANDINGS
8.1 Event Placement
Players are ranked by Event Score at each event.
Placement determines Event Points.
8.2 Event Points Allocation
Event Points are awarded using the standard formula:
Event Points = League Size − Placement + 1
8.3 Missed Events
A player who does not participate in an NHRL event receives:
1 Event Point for that event
This ensures consistent standings and prevents advantage through non-participation.
8.4 Season Champion
The player with the highest total Event Points after the final regular-season NHRL event is the NHRL Fantasy League Champion.
9. TIE-BREAKERS (NHRL DEFAULT)
In the event of a tie in Event Score or Event Placement, the following tie-breakers apply in order:
Most KO / Tapout wins
Highest single-bot Event Score
League Steward determination
10. CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT (PROVISIONAL)
10.1 Championship Status
A Championship Event is planned for the 2026 season.
However, championship rules are still under active development.
The structure used in prior seasons did not perform as intended, and revisions are ongoing.
10.2 Provisional Nature
All championship-related rules, including:
Draft structure
Eligibility
Duplicate handling
are explicitly subject to change.
Final championship rules will be:
Clearly labeled as Final
Published before the final regular-season event
Communicated to all players in advance
10.3 Steward Authority During Development
The League Steward retains full authority to:
Modify championship mechanics
Replace draft structures
Simplify eligibility rules
This authority exists solely to ensure a fair and functional Championship Event.
11. COMMUNICATION & UPDATES
All official rule updates or clarifications will be communicated via the league’s designated Discord channel.
Players are responsible for staying informed of posted updates.
12. FINAL AUTHORITY
All enforcement, disputes, and edge cases for the NHRL Fantasy League are resolved by the League Steward.
Unless overturned by league vote, the Steward’s ruling is final.
