CMRC Robot Conflict at RC Excitement 4-25-2026

I want to thank our Sponsor for this event Repeat Robotics. They provided some very nice gift certificates for the 1st and second place. Repeat Robotics also provided third place awards but we did not have a definitive third place to give out the award.

I also want to thank Havoc Rundown for coming up to join us and do the streaming and announcing for the event.

Saturday marked the fifth event at RC Excitement. It was an awesome day with some spectacular fights. This event featured five NHRL dumpster winners. There were a number of tremendous roof shots and highlight fights. One of the best matches of the event were brother vs sister, Sad Octopus vs Captain Chaos in the semifinals. Sad Octopus had the upper hand the first half of the fight but would eventually lose his weapon which opened the door for Captain Chaos to take control and win the fight. Captain Chaos went up against Juxtaposition in the finals with Juxtapostion taking the win in a very close judges decision. Congratulations to Kekoto Manne on his first event win.

In the Ant Weights we went with a Round Robin format which gave plenty of stick time to the builders. One of the most entertaining bots in the Ant weights had to be Travis Hunter and 3R Initiative. Travis brought a Plastic Ant to a Full Combat event and provided a couple of entertaining demonstrations on rapid disassembly of a robot. The Winner of the Ants was Samuel Herman with Samuel's Last-Minute Disaster. Taking down Second place was Jordan Perry with Ferocious Tiger. The favorite to win coming into the event, Paper Jam, had some issues with radio connections which cost him a couple of matches.
