5 Great Fights You Might Have Missed- April 2026

Robots are fighting!  So many robots, doing so much fighting, that you’re likely to miss some great fights unless you watch absolutely everything.  Here are 5 that didn’t make the main NHRL stream this March.

Usawgi vs. Eviscerator

We often say that hammersaws are the ultimate “all you need is one” archetype because of how devastating a single hit can be.  Not many fights demonstrate that principle this well.  Eviscerator is completely dominating the first 70 seconds of the fight, then Usawgi gets a fantastic pin and a shot on the battery and all a sudden nothing else matters anymore.  See you in December, Alex!

Chaos Upright vs. Actual Size

Unstick ends at 3:00.

I use the word “great” in a different connotation here.  This is almost certainly the goofiest fight of the event, a frankly underrated form of greatness deserving of greater praise.  Big wheel on big wheel fights are always deeply strange, and Chaos Upright is essentially a big wheel that doesn't bother with all that bigness of their wheels.  It’s like both are big wheels, but one is sitting down.  This is also pretty much the only possible matchup where those self righting hoops on Chaos Upright can also be effective control equipment.

I really wish these two were in the same group. I want to know how Max would roast this thing.

Blunder vs. Sir Nigel

This fight was 8 seconds long.  Here’s 8 words on it:

Quick fight.  Blue camera, best angle.  Blunder slaps.

Syrnik vs. Viper King X

This bot is at least a little bit terrifying. Arguably it came out of nowhere to be this successful, but its success argues louder for watching full fights instead of just looking at previous fight records.  There was some scary power in Syrnik’s weapon last revision, almost killing off Vapor Trail at both bots’ first appearances before Vapor Trail just outlasted its onslaught.  That performance, plus a long time to think on minor tweaks and improvements, makes the dominance seen on Saturday make a lot more sense than 1 win and 2 losses.

Syrnik vs. Reign-X

I just know a beetle cage hates to see Reign-X coming.  I’ve now featured them twice in this series for punching through things they shouldn’t have.  They’re the only bot who discovers cage failure modes that look like these.  They should get an award.  Maybe a rubber weapon cover.
